Geoff Whiley, Young Hyena and Mopani Bees (ANIMALS 2025)

This young Spotted Hyena was beautifully backlit by late afternoon sun in Kruger National Park. I captured this image as he was snapping in annoyance at the tiny Mopani Bees attracted to the moisture around his eyes.
