Yingguo Chen, Yanzi Academy (PLACES 2026)

Located in Shanghai’s Fengxian District, Yanzi Academy is a multi-functional cultural exhibition building. Through a thoughtfully designed spatial sequence of water courts, green gardens, literary courtyards, and the Hall of Sages, it offers the public a space rich in cultural atmosphere. The ancient walls of the Hall of Sages reflect gracefully in the clear pond, blurring reality and illusion, and inspiring the imagination.
