After sharing my garden with wild Cockatoos over the last few years, my perception of these raucous, precocious birds has changed. The use of slow shutter speed mirrored my shift in perception. I began tracking not just movement but meaning. Going ‘slow’ allowed me to capture the essence of these beautiful birds, to reveal a softer, quieter side.
