James Ford, Weka (ANIMALS 2021)

An adult weka, captured trying to steal my dinner on the West Coast of New Zealand's South Island. Shot in colour on a Fujifilm X-T3 at 140mm, F2.8, 1/250s. Post production in Lightroom and Photoshop. Converted to monochrome with a single shade of brown blended into the midtones to mimic the weka's natural colour.
