Peter Reynolds, Wave of Mist (PLACES 2026)

Wentworth Falls in the Blue Mountains west of Sydney was shrouded in a sea of mist for most of the day on one trip in May 2024. The mist started to give way to sunshine late in the day. This photo was taken from Jamison Lookout, near the carpark for the Wentworth Falls track. Mist rising from Wentworth Falls looks set to engulf Mount Solitary and the Jamison Valley like a great wave - the beauty of God's creation on display!
