I have shot the Wanaka Tree a few times but never id foggy light. My goal was to diminish the icon, I chose a composition that shrunk the tree, and I felt the trees on the upper shoreline were more dominant. I felt Victorious but the longer I look at this image the more I think the Wanaka tree won this battle
