Bente Andermahr, Vatican Colonnades (Places)

Many photographs of Vatican city have been taken, but the size, weight and solidity of the columns of the Colonnades dominated and intimidated non-the-less when walking though them. This images tries to capture that power, with some of the saints to give it context.
