I took this shot when trailing far behind my wife and daughter on the Stockton sand dunes. Their tiny silhouettes give me a sense of the vastness of the barren landscape. I shot this image using the in-camera vivid mode to get a tonal range enough for black and white post processing. f8 1/400sec. ISO-500, Vivid mode, Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX5
