Unseen. People tend to focus on what is seen – the obvious, visible data that captures their attention, ignoring what is unseen. Someone may appear happy and content, with a smile on their face, however they may be concealing darker emotions, pretending everything is ok. This photograph explores the mental illness of depression, depicting the subject knee deep in a lake. her white dress conveys her innocence despite her darker intentions.
