Andrew Woolard , Turning 60 (PEOPLE 2025)

My wife grew up swimming under the watch of this beach shark tower as did her father and her grandfather who were both coal miners . The shark tower was built by local coal miners in the area around the depression in the early 30s to give the men some work. It is one of the last shark towers still standing in Australia and my wife wanted this iconic feature to pay homage to her coal mining family to celebrate her 60th birthday.
