Chris Freelance, Tuatara texture (ANIMALS 2026)

The Tuatara is a reptile endemic to New Zealand, being the only remaining species from an order of reptiles distinct from lizards. With a spiny crest and leathery-looking skin, their colour is well matched to their environment but can change over their 60+ year lifespan.
