Deborah Walker, Truly remarkable (PLACES 2024)
Taking photos of the sea is a passion of mine and during our recent trip to Tasmania presented plenty of opportunities. The rugged coast line of Tassie particularly in the south did not disappoint. We were told not to miss visiting a geological formation called The Remarkable Cave, a tunnel shaped cave that was formed when a wall of the existing sandstone cave collapsed in on itself creating the tunnel we see today.he sheer power of the sea sends huge waves through the narrow opening and the roaring sound of the wave as it comes crashing through and out of the tunnel is deafening. It was awesome to watch and be so close to such an extraordinary occurrence as well as being lucky enough to catch a wave in action was truly remarkable.
