Dennis Brennan, Tortured (PEOPLE 2022)

Geoff Manias is a Lake Conjola bushfire victim who tried in vain with buckets of water from the lake to protect his eight year old home. To loose the house and nearly all his life possessions has been a mental struggle and along with PTSD and the stress associated with trying to rebuild with the constraints imposed by new fire and council regulations. Eventually this forced him to sellout and move further down the coast to start a new life.
