It is amazing how fast the weather patterns change up at Mt Cook National Park in New Zealand. The sky was full of drama and as we drove to our hikes at Tasman Glacier and Tasman Lake. The threat of impending storms in the afternoon meant that we were up early to makes sure we got two hikes done before the thunderstorms hit and the tour busses arrived. I was completely captivated by the spectacle in front of me and yelled ‘stop the van’, so I could capture this scene.
