Neil Vincent, Thief (ANIMALS 2022)

This image was taken at the Hunter Wetlands, NSW, during the Egret breeding season. An Australian Raven searched for unattended nests until it found one. It stole one egg from this nest and then found a hollow in a tree where it cracked the egg and ate the contents.
