Amber Brentnall, The wedding morning (PEOPLE 2025)

I was deeply privileged to spend time with my beautiful step daughter the morning of her wedding. Like most brides to be, I'm sure, she was dressed and ready to go by sunrise - she had already spent the night and the early hours of the morning with one of her most loved of all treasures, her gorgeous dog. I was sitting with her, talking about the excitement of the day, and the future, when on this delightfully sunny autumn day, the clouds parted and the most amazing natural light shone through the stain glassed window behind her- this is when I captured this most loving and intimate moment between a girl and her dog.
