At first glance, this is a portrait of a kangaroo. But for me, it is a portrait of something much older. Australia’s wildlife has evolved in landscapes that demand patience. Survival here is rarely about speed or strength alone; it is about knowing when to move, when to remain unseen, and when to emerge from the shadows.
