Deborah Cummings, The Waiting Game (ANIMALS 2024)

The egrets had been dancing around each other and waiting for the opportunity to attack. However, this never happened and I missed out on some action. Despite this they were backlit and the rim of their feathers were lit up by the sun. Together with a nice soft reflection. What did I have to complain about. It was such a beautiful moment which made it all worthwhile.
