Brian Love, The Thinker (ANIMALS 2025)

Seeing this Chacma Baboon sitting high on a Kopje(rocky hill), in South Africa my mind went to Rodins Bronze Sculpture, The Thinker. While we can never know the mind of non human mammals, it's still fun to speculate what they are thinking if anything at all. Is it all instinct or is there something deeper. The shape of the curving rock, single subject and clear background, let me to opt for a minimalist, silhouette approach in post processing.
