Emanuele Del Bufalo, The Skimming Stone (PEOPLE 2022)

On the shores of Lake Wanaka in the heart of New Zealand Alps on a late winter afternoon it's time to throw stones! Ingredients: a lake or a pond, a sunset, a stone, a quick camera and a really good and patient friend. Recipe: Wait until the sun is quite low enough, so that you have the light on the right angle. Collect a sufficient number of flat rounded stones, (the number of stones are directly correlate to the skill of your friend) Try to anticipate where the stone will skim the water, (it may be useful to promise your friend a reward for every good shot, usually beer works fine.) Have fun!
