The silence of the noise The streets of modern Rome pulse with motion—scooters weaving between taxis, buses lumbering past centuries-old ruins, and pedestrians flowing like a river over cobblestones. Yet, in the image, the deafening symphony of honking horns and revving engines is stilled into silence.
