Kathy Brown, The Shearing Shed (PLACES 2024)
An inside view of the old heritage listed shearer's shed which was built in 1875 and was in operation for 97 years, an amazing six million sheep were sheared here. The Kinchega Shearer's shed is found in the Kinchega National Park, south west of Menindee in the central Darling shire of NSW and also has accommodation in the old shearers quarters. An amazing place to visit which is truly rich in Australian history.
