Deborah Walker , The Sentinel Tree (PLACES 2025)

Taking photos of trees is a passion of mine and this particular tree looked like a sentinel protecting the creek and the trees that made up its dominion. The black and white photo with its reflections only seemed to emphasise the solidarity of the tree with its environment.
