Alyce Tancredi, The Pelican (ANIMALS 2022)

The Australian Pelican (Pelecanus conspicillatus) is a large water bird that has the largest beak of all pelicans worldwide. They often fall victim to entanglement or swallow fish hooks, which can leave them with life-threatening injuries. They are regal, beautiful and deserve our respect, as I hope to have captured in this image.
