I named him Zaltan, who is always around our home and lives on our property with his family. Every morning around 7.00 am, he will fly in and settle down on our veranda post, calling out to the others, “it’s time for breakfast! I took this photo during the moment late afternoon; he was having a break guarding the young ones and chasing the other birds that happily settled in on our property. Zaltan was very patient with me, and I approached him quite close with my Canon 7dII mark and lens (Canon EF70-300mm); who was observing who? Patience prevailed the outcome that day, taking his headshot “watching Zaltan observing his surroundings. “ I took the photo in February 2022
