Amanda Stuart, The Moonah Walk (PLACES 2023)

Close to my home are these magnificent Moonah trees, providing shelter and shade when it's hot or wet. There is a sense of timelessness and peace; it's one of my favourite walks, and well-known to the locals. I find you have to pick the right time of day to photograph the trees at their best, as the highlights intrude in bright sunlight.
