Rita Seekamp , The long way home (PLACES 2026)
A solitary gravel road stretches endlessly through wide, open country, bordered by dry grass and worked earth. In the distance, a small stand of trees breaks the horizon, grounded beneath a sky alive with textured clouds. The black and white treatment emphasises contrast and depth, turning a simple rural scene into something reflective, where distance feels both physical and personal.
