Scott Longden, The Long Journey Home (ANIMALS 2022)

What I thought would be an easy shot of an ant on a wire turned into a major photoshoot, with lighting akin to a photostudio, 4 separate shoots and nearly 1000 images. Just when I thought I had 'that image' framed, the little buggers moved at lightning speed or ran around the back of the wire. I wanted to evoke the thought of; a long journey home.
