Pravin Nahar, The Loan Tree (PLACES 2024)

This is one of the most iconic and photographed trees - The Lone Tree of Wanaka, New Zealand. I arrived there just after mid-day as an ordinary tourist. This part of the lake was dry. I had to contend with the harsh Sun. The backdrop of snow-covered mountain was the attraction to go against the light for this image to be converted to B&W.
