For a couple of years I have wanted to capture the moment Australian flying foxes leave a roost. Not the spectacle but the organised family chaos of the leaving. This is the culmination of many efforts to present the moment in the way I hoped. I finally got this shot in Woolgoolga, NSW on a recent trip in April 2022
