My portrait, a stark black and white study, delves into the interplay of strength and ethereal beauty. The subject is captured with an intentional sharpness, her form defined by an unexpected material: plywood. This deliberate choice for her attire creates angular, almost architectural lines that challenge the typical fluidity of fabric, emphasising a constructed identity.
