I love travel that takes me off the beaten path. This image was taken in a village in Chania, on the island of Crete while on a local tour to visit some of the artisans in the area. It was fascinating to watch this bell maker at work in a tradition that spans many decades in remote Greek villages. The bells are used to keep track of the goats you see dotted around this area.
