Sharine Guerra Madoo, The Beauty of Aging (PEOPLE 2021)

The model in this image is my friend and work colleague. It was taken at the UniSA Magill Campus student lounge and using natural light source. In this image I wanted to tell a story about self-acceptance and beauty in every phase of life. I wanted to capture the inner beauty that flows out of my friend and the vibrance for life in her eyes. This is a digital monochrome image with very basic corrections. Alike my favourite artists I am preoccupied the "issness" of things and manipulate my images to the minimum.
