Amber Brentnall, The baby waterdragon (ANIMALS 2023)

The National Australian Botanic Gardens is famous for its colony of East Gippsland Waterdragons, that come out in force during the warmer months. This little one was very fresh, at just a little under 10cm long and very light (they can grow up to 1 metre), she/he was playing among the thin branches of a very small shrub. You can just spot her/him among the buds.
