Andrea Bryant, Swan lake (ANIMALS 2022)
During the various Covid lockdowns and restrictions, I found that infrared photography provided a unique opportunity to creatively interpret our natural environment, in a way that suggests the complexity lying beneath the surface. This body of work was taken around a lake that I regularly walk around and justaposes its various imperfections and majesty. The images also hint at a sense of foreboding inherent in these everyday objects.
