I live in Ocean Grove, which enjoys a long ocean beach on the Bellarine Peninsula in Victoria, Australia. On good days, when the surf is doing the right thing, dozens of people can be seen on the water on surfboards, bodyboards, stand-up paddle boards and more. I'm always trying to catch the essence of this 'crowd' in pictures, and thought this low key image was one way to highlight the surfers, even if they're just silhouettes.
