Sheila Peake, Still night on the water (PLACES 2026)
As night fell, the lights of the boats at anchorage shone out, in the safe anchorage of Round Hill Creek 1770. A calm night where the stillness on the water reflected the lights of the yachts, and the sounds of voices, laughter and music carried across the distance. As I stood there, like a voyeur into another world of sailors, boats and a different lifestyle, a relaxed, peaceful, easy feeling surrounded me just like the night sky I stood under.
