Jillian Holmes, Standing the test of time (PLACES 2024)

I took this photo at a lookout on Mt Slowcombe, in a tiny town called Yaraka, Qld. Population 19. It stood alone on a rocky outcrop overlooking the barren landscape. It had stood the test of time, the wind, the storm, the heat and yet it firmly held its ground. The distant rain clouds building only enhanced its beauty.
