Cushla Monk, Shelter from the Storm (PLACES 2023)

Soames Island in Wellington Harbour is so exposed to the gale force southerlies that blow in. The Macrocarpa tree is well baten by the prevailing wind and yet it provides such a good shelter for the flock of local sheep.
