Serendipity, not only one of her favourite words, but the true meaning of this image. Paula, my husband's sister only their 5th meeting in over 60 years. They were both born in Yorkshire as brother and sister yet never knew one another. By chance they were reunited and now travel to the other side of the world to see each other. Here, she was waiting to say farewell after a weekend in Stockholm. She now lives in London he lives in Australia. I sit in awe watching her look of content to be with the younger brother, a family she always felt she had.The light from the foyer window enhanced the gaze of content. A chance she took to reconnect after a lifetime of wondering. This image is a fleeting moment of chance, Serendipity, events by chance in a happy way.
