Cheryl Brougham, Semaphore (PLACES 2022)

The stretch of clouds, in line with the land below, invoke a sense of calm. We generally look to the sea to experience this sensation, but this January, the beauty opposite the waves caught my attention. The building, a bright yellow & the glowing blue skies 'lit up' in monochrome, showcasing the purity of shooting in black and white.
