A religiosa (a sister from a religious order) sits in front of the lavishly carved and gilded 18th century Baroque mampara (screen) – which separates the even more lavishly carved and gilded interior of the Iglesia del Sagrario from its street entrance – selling raffle tickets under the unseeing eye of one of the mascarons carved into the base of its pillars.
