I feel grateful for any morning that gives me a location that I can capture and make into something wholly me; something that I can mould and enhance into an image that evokes an emotional connection with the viewer. But add a layer of mystery that is bushfire smoke from our 2020 summer…well, that image becomes something else entirely. West Head Road has never been so intriguing…or foreboding.
