Jonathan Gu, Raven Gothic (ANIMALS 2022)

During a particularly moody evening, I watched clouds swirling around as the sun crept towards the horizon. There was a short moment before the sun was completely submerged when its circumference peeked over the top of the cloud. At that very moment, an Australian raven flew across the sun, giving the composition a sense of scale.
