Brian Cassey, Ramnami (PEOPLE 2021)

Maherttar Ram Tandon is a member of the small Hindu sect Ramnami Samaj in Chattisgarh central India. He is amongst the last handful of Ramnami that have their entire bodies tattooed with the scared text 'Ram Ram'. Ramnami were once routinely tattooed with the text soon after birth.
