Declan Clow, Quiet Pastoral (ANIMALS 2026)
When the rice is harvested and the fields are burnt, the landscape of Hoi An transforms. This image captures that fleeting, in-between season where the land is handed over to the grazing water buffalo. Through natural framing and striking illumination, the photograph isolates a single, quiet moment of labor and stillness against the striking textures of the scorched earth.
