Edi Ivancic, Quay Quarter Tower (PLACES 2022)

This image is the new Quay Quarter Tower located near Circular Quay in Sydney CBD. To be completed this year, the building is divided into five separate volumes with an atrium and terrace at the base of each one. The lower levels are angled to the west while the remaining upper levels shift to the east providing views of Sydney harbour. I captured the building at this viewpoint to highlight the symmetry of converging line work of each of the stacked volumes and how it interacts to the overall shape of the building.
