This group of Pelicans sat isolated in the water in Cullendulla Nature Reserve near Bateman's Bay in late afternoon light. As large black and white birds they are the ideal monochrome subjects. I loved the isolation of the subject and the detail I was able to capture in the plumage as well as the relaxed vibe of the birds.
