Standing over 3000 ft above sea level The Three Sisters, set in the Australian Blue Mountains, were formed over 200 million years ago. The large sandstone pillars hold a significant meaning for the local Aboriginal people. In the legend, there were three sisters: Meehni, Wimlah, and Gunnedoo. This image is Gunnedoo’s portrait.
