Malcom Baker, Port of Echuca at Dusk (PLACES 2025)

The Port of Echuca wharf has been constructed in such a way that boats can moor at it even when the Murray River is in flood. When this image was taken the river height is close to what it is normally. The lights had just been turned on in the under wharf area partially silhouetting the river boats moored in the area for the night. These lights complement the setting sun's rays coming in over the construction to generate a final view of this river scene.
